Alice's Identity Becomes Distorted in this Trailer for Thriller Cam

Cam is the latest indie thriller from Jason Blum and Blumhouse Entertainment. Screened earlier this year at Austin's Fantastic Fest and Montreal's Fantasia Film Festival, Cam looks at the life of a cam-girl and the ramifications of selling your soul, online. This film picked up a "Best Screenplay" award and "Best First Feature" award at Fantasia. And, Cam stars Madeline Brewer of The Handmaid's Tale fame, along with: Patch Darragh ("Everything Sucks!"), Melora Walters, Devin Druid and many others. The film's official, first trailer is here and so is the official poster.

The movie poster is an interesting one. The graphic shows Alice (Brewer) on a split screen, with distorted features. The character looks crazed as she is stretched by the screen. And, this is one show you will not want to miss.

The plot, itself, involves online pornography. Alice performs for others, to make a living. But, she loses her online space and rank to a doppelganger. Who is who and what is what in this techno' thriller?

Cam will show on Netflix, this November. The film is scheduled to show on November 16th for audiences. On this date, horror and thriller fans can find out how Alice's life becomes unhinged as she struggles with a strange form of identity theft. The film's official trailer is below.

Release Date: November 16th, 2018 (Netflix).
