Justin McConnell's Lifechanger Brings a Shapeshifter to Montreal's Fantasia Int. Film Festival this July 20th

Tagline: "It Becomes You."

Canadian online and print magazine Rue Morgue has debuted the trailer and poster for Justin McConnell's Lifechanger. This indie horror title is set to have its World Premiere at the Fantasia International Film Festival, in Montreal. Produced by McConnell's Unstable Ground, this title is set to show, in the United States, via Uncork'd Entertainment. Long time Canadian film distributor, Raven Banner Entertainment will handle the film's Canadian distribution. In the film, a shapeshifter is enamoured by a woman he can never really have. But, he will leave a trail of bodies, in his wake, to reach her. The official poster and trailer, along with an early still, are hosted here.

Director McConnell has talked about the story, a bit, in his interview with Rue Morgue. McConnell mentions that this shapeshifter is also a killer as each body he leaves is destroyed, before he moves to the next person. McConnell states: "the movie is meant to be a lot of things, and plays out a little like a serial-killer film—if the killer happens to be a shapeshifter." This shapeshifter will entertain audiences, this July, as the film nears its premiere.

As well, Lifechanger has a vast cast. The hardest working actor in Hollywood, Bill Oberst Jr. (Stressed to Kill) voices much of the film. Actors Lora Burke (Poor Agnes), Jack Foley, Elitsa Bako, Sam James White and many more actors star in this very original feature. Fans of McConnell's previous works (Minutes Past Midnight, Galaxy of Horrors) can see more on Lifechanger below, with the film's first trailer offering a lot of story elements and situations.
