The Mimic Changes itself for North American Audiences on Blu-ray this June 12th

Well Go USA has announced this month that Huh Jung's (Hide and Seek, 2013) The Mimic will be releasing in June. This terrifying horror film was originally released, in South Korea, in late 2017. The film involves a mythological figure, known as "the Tiger of Mt. Jang." This entity simulates people, causing chaos. This Korean language film stars: Park Hyuk-Kwon (A Taxi Driver), Shin Rin-Ah (Ode To My Father), Yum Jung-Ah (Tell Me Something) and P Heo Jin. The North American release trailer has just been released and the clip can be found here.

The trailer shows a family moving into a new home. The daughter finds a strange character in the home. Slowly, the family begins to succumb to a strange ghost, which cannot be escaped (nor buried).

The North American debut will take place on a couple of formats. The film will be available on Blu-ray and on Digital platforms, this Summer. The release is scheduled this June 12th. As well, the Blu-ray will host a "Making-of" special feature. The film has a runtime of 100 minutes and will be released in an unrated format.
