"Nightflyers" Boards the SyFy Network this Fall: First Trailer

"Nightflyers" is the latest television series, from creator and writer George R. R. Martin ("Game of Thrones"). This title is slated for 10 episodes on the SyFy Network, later this year. Filmed in Ireland, this series is based on Martin's novella, from 1980. This material has already been set to film (Nightflyers, 1987). This version will be quite a bit longer and covers Martin's Thousand Worlds universe. A trailer for the series is hosted below.

The short clip blends horror an sci-fi. Bloodstains drip down one surface. Characters flee another. Someone else gets too close to the barbq. And, people fly about in simulated zero gravity. The series looks electrifying.
