Los Huérfanos (The Orphans) Haunts Mexico throughout March

Tagline: "He Will Return for the Last of His Children."

Los Huérfanos, or The Orphans, is a horror film from Indonesia. Influenced by another film, Satan's Slaves (1982), the film looks at evil: in possessions and murders. This is an Indonesian language film. Also, this foreign title has just had its Mexican premiere. The film will continue a theatrical run, in Mexico, throughout March. As well, a trailer for the film was released in January; it can be found below. The film's Spanish language poster is also found here.

The trailer reveals more of the story. A grandmother is sick and dying. When she comes back to life, an entire family is haunted by her ghost. Then tragedy strikes, with mysterious characters turning up to the haunted home.

Zima Entertainment is handling the film's theatrical run, in Mexico. The film is slated to release in several South-east Asian countries (Thailand, Taiwan). However, there are no current plans to release this title in North America. For now, indie horror fans can see the latest on Los Huérfanos, below.
