The Slender Man Emerges from the Fog in this Trailer

The urban legend of the Slender Man grows. Director Sylvain White (I’ll Always Know What You Did Last Summer) helms this film, from a script written by David Birke (13 Sins, 2014) and Victor Surge. The film stars: Joey King (The Conjuring, 2013), Julia Goldani Telles and Annalise Basso. In the film, an unnatural man haunts a local forest, leading to the disappearance of dozens of children and teenagers. A Mythology Entertainment and Madhouse Entertainment production, the film's first trailer is available here.

In the trailer, a voice-over asks "Where is my daughter?" There is no answer. Meanwhile, more and more young women are drawn into the woods. Strange, short images haunt the trailer, with the Slender Man appearing at night and in fog.

The Slender Man will show in May of 2018. Sony Pictures Releasing will host the United States' release, which begins May 18th. Fans of creepy horror titles are encouraged to take a look at this early trailer. It does not show too much, while offering a bit of a mystery.
