Brian O'Malley's The Lodgers Approaches the Witching Hour

The Gothic supernatural horror The Lodgers is set to release this February. The film was developed by award winning director Brian O'Malley (Let Us Prey, 2014). In the film, a brother and sister are trapped on an ageing estate. They must follow three rules, or face a supernatural confrontation. The Lodgers premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, in 2017. The film stars: Charlotte Vega (Another Me, 2013), Bill Milner, Eugene Simon and David Bradley. A premiere of the film's United States' theatrical premiere is hosted here.

The Lodgers is set in 1920s rural Ireland. Here, Rachel (Vega) and Edward (Milner) are ensnared by the lodgers, who emerge at midnight. When Rachel breaks three cursed rules, she sets in motion a showdown with the mansion's supernatural jailers.

The film was partially developed by Epic Pictures Group. The Lodgers has already won several awards. It won "Best Special Effects" and "Best Actress" at the Fancine Festival de Dine Fantastico. It has also won a "Jury Prize," at the Molins de Rei Horror Film Festival. It is a classic tale of Gothic horror. And, indie horror fans can view the film, this February 23rd in theatres and through Video-on-demand.
