Restraint Turns to Violence in this Horror Thriller!

Some of the greatest monsters lay in wait, within suburbia. This is the basic premise for Adam Cushman's Restraint. Recently, this film had a showing at the Buffalo International Film Festival. It has also appeared at the Rhode Island International Film Festival. Inside Restraint, a woman becomes catatonic, first. Then, she turns violent in her family home. Restraint stars: Dana Ashbrook, John Hensley and Geoffrey Rivas. The film's latest trailer is hosted here.

The trailer takes awhile to build tension. But, the clip offers an unsettling film score, courtesy of Icelandic composer Hilmar Örn Hilmarsson. It also shows some of the film's more violent sequences, with one character dragged off-screen. Never judge a book by its cover as Angela (Caitlyn Folley) slowly becomes unhinged.

A release date, for Restraint, has not been announced. However, the film continues a film festival run, throughout 2017. More festival dates will be announced shortly. Currently, the film is being repped by sales agent Devil Works, for future distribution. More details will be announced soon, for Restraint, once it finds a release date.

Release Date: TBA.

Director/writer: Adam Cushman.
