K-Shop Opens its Doors on December 12th Through VOD and DVD

Breaking Glass Pictures will release Dan Pringle's K-Shop on DVD and VOD. The release date is set for mid-December. The film has already released in the United Kingdom, where it was shot. In the film, a kebab shop owner is moved to despair, after the death of his father. He is so desperate that he uses the locals for meat. How long until someone finds out? The film centrally stars: Ziad Abaza (Sand Castle), Reece Noi ("Game of Thrones"), Darren Morfitt (Dog Soldiers) and several others. A Red Band trailer has just been released, along with the film's U.S. DVD artwork. Both items can be found here.

The Red Band trailer shows one of the film's victims. A rowdy patron wants to cook his own food, until he becomes the next meal. The clip shows some of the gruesome results of antagonizing this shop owner.

This horror fan has seen an early screener of the film. K-Shop involves scenes of confinement and torture. It is a bit of a gritty and gruesome tale. Though, there is a bit of light at the end of the tunnel as the character Salah reaches out to a couple of characters, for help. It is definitely an indie title. It should not be missed when it comes out through Video-on-demand and DVD, this December 12th. More details, on the release, are hosted below.
