The Applecart is Upset by a Mysterious Woman in this Preview

Applecart is an upcoming indie horror film. From first time director Brad Brauh, this feature is slated for a Fantastic Fest appearance, in Austin. Fantastic Fest begins this September. In Applecart, a mysterious woman turns up at a family retreat and acts out against everyone. The film stars: Barbara Crampton (Beyond the Gates, 2016), A.J. Bowen (You're Next, 2011), Brea Grant, Alison Haislip and many more. There is currently no wide distribution in the works. Though, a trailer was released earlier this year (found below) and a movie poster can be found here.

For more on the story, James (Bowen) is suffering from inoperable liver cancer. He takes refuge in a lone cabin, with some friends. During the night, a woman comes out of the woods. She is shaken. But, as time goes by, it becomes clear that this mysterious person has fatalistic intentions.

The film will have its World Premiere at Fantastic Fest. It will show on two nights, this September 22nd and 27th. A wider release has not been announced.
