There Will Be No Survivors in Jigsaw aka Saw 8: First Trailer!

The first trailer for Jigsaw is here. Aka Saw 8, it has been six years since a Saw film has debuted. The film is set for a late October release. And, the film's first trailer shows several people trapped in various torture rooms. Several characters must face their flaws, or face the saw. Tobin Bell is attached to the film. Though, the character Jigsaw has died several films ago. Laura Vandervoort ("Bitten), Brittany Allen (It Stains the Sands Red) and Hannah Emily Anderson (Lizzie Borden Took an Axe) also star in this latest outing. The synopsis mentions an apprentice. Still, John Kramer's DNA is turning up on victims. So, who is still killing in Jigsaw's name?

Further story details remain elusive. Though, the trailer does focus more on action, than a narrative. Characters find themselves in all sorts of dire situations. In one scene, a half dozen characters are handcuffed with a chain. Saw blades await them. And, it looks like there is no escape. In another scene, two characters are trapped in a grain silo. As sand fills the container, sharp instruments fall from the top. The clip is truly nightmarish. Jigsaw will be one of the most disturbing horror films to release this year.
