Canada's The Evil in Us Crashes the Border: US Release Details

Tagline: "Side Effects May Include: Insomnia, Rage and Cannibalism."

The Evil in Us is a zombie film from Canada. From Sandcastle Pictures, this title had a bit of an under-the-radar release, via Raven Banner Entertainment, this past April - in Canada. Now, the film is slated to launch in the United States, this July. The Evil in Us has also released globally, in territories like: Germany, Japan, Taiwan, Latin America and a few others. And, the film's script has been influenced by some of the bath salts attacks, that began in 2012. In the film, six friends turn to cannibalism, after ingesting a strange drug. You can never party in a horror film. As six friends retreat to a remote island, their trip takes a disturbing turn. A drug cocktail turns several of the friends into blood-thirsty killers, while survivors look for escape. If the survivors can find the source of the drug, they may be able to stop this growing cannibal horde.

The film was shot in Vancouver, British Columbia. From filmmakers Michael Gyori and Jason William Lee, their latest shows off some of wild British Columbian cinematography, in the film's official trailer.
