James Gunn's Slither to Debut on Blu-ray Thanks to Scream Factory

It is time for a trip down horror memory lane. Director James Gunn's (Guardians of the Galaxy) directorial debut, Slither, will be releasing on Blu-ray! The Blu-ray launch will take place this Summer, in July. This latest release, for the 2006 film, will include a number of extras. As well, Scream Factory will host the release. To show as a "Collector's Edition," a preview of Slither's latest home entertainment launch is hosted here.

The film is a blend of comedy and horror. In this b-movie classic, actor Michael Rooker as Grant, is infected by a strange substance, delivered by a meteorite. A whole town is swarmed by parasitic leeches. The uninfected, Starla (Elizabeth Banks) and Bill (Nathan Fillion) and others, must fight back against an impossible, virulent enemy.

There are a few bonuses for people who order early. Pre-orders will come with a slipcover. As well, early birds will receive an 18" x 24" poster, in celebration of the latest release. Bonus features will be announced closer to the film's July 25th release date. More details on the Slither Blu-ray launch are hosted below.
