Slovenia's First Horror Film - Killbillies - is Out Now!

Artsploitation Films has just launched the release of Killbillies. This is Slovenia's first horror feature. And, the film is heavily influenced by titles like The Hills Have Eyes (1977) and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974). A review for this title is available here, on 28DLA: A Killbillies Review on 28DLA. As well, the film stars: Nina Ivanisin, Lotos Sparovec, Sebastian Cavazza and Nika Rozman. To celebrate the Killbillies launch, three new stills are hosted here.

The stills show some of the lighter and darker moments of the film. In an early scene, Zina (Ivanisin) sits with a few of her friends, in a cavern-like bar. There is little time for laughter, though. In a later scene, a photographer's assistant is tortured by two deformed hillbillies. This is a gruesome film. As well, Zina is shown again. This time, she is trying to escape the hillbillie's hovel. Beaten and bruised, there is little hope of a way out. All of these stills show the different tones of the film.

Killbillies is out now! The film is available on DVD, through: Amazon, TCM, DVD Planet, Deep Discount and many more. On VOD, the film is available on: Amazon, Vimeo and Youtube. Indie and foreign film fans will find this title on many platforms and you can view it just in time for Halloween!
