Queen of Spades: The Dark Rite Asks to Be Summoned Through Video-on-Demand this Summer

Level 33 Entertainment will release the Russian language film Queen of Spades: The Dark Rite (Chyornyy obryad). The film involves an ancient ritual, which summons a malicious spirit. A Volga Film and Ultra Film Production endeavour, Queen of Spades: The Dark Rite releases this July, followed by a DVD release in September. Fans of foreign films can find the latest on this rare Russian horror title here.

From the synopsis, a mirror is a portal to the world of the dead. Four teenagers use this portal to summon the Queen of Spades. She rules this dark setting and she is set to rule the world of the living, after being called.

Queen of Spades: The Dark Rite will be available through multiple digital platforms, on this date. On September 15th, Queen of Spades: The Dark Rite will be available on DVD, in North America.
