Nick Damici Returns to the Vampire Apocalypse with Stakelander!

Stake Land, a film starring Nick Damici (Cold in July), was a vampire thriller from 2011. An excellent film, this title envisioned a world, where vampires ruled the land. Now, a sequel has been announced. Not only that, the film has already been completed! Damici has co-written this horror feature, with Dan Berk (Body, 2015) and Robert Olsen directing. Completed in Saskatchewan, Canada, Stakelander is a co-production from Dark Sky Films, Glass Eye Pix and SyFy. SyFy will premiere the film as a SyFy original, very soon. For now, story details are available here.

The film's story picks up where the last one left off. Returning character Martin (Paolo) is on the run, after New Eden is destroyed. In search of Mister (Damici), in a decaying America, Martin must battle the Brotherhood and its malicious Vamp' leader. With America infested with more and more vampires, Martin and Mister will need more than just themselves, to turn the blood-thirsty tide.
