There are No Clear Skies in Blue World Order: A Preview

Blue World Order is an independent film from Canberra, Australia. The film is a blend of science fiction, thriller and post-apocalyptic actioner; it has a little bit of everything. The film was recently completed in late 2015. Since then, a trailer has been released. The clip shows a futuristic world, in which nuclear war has decimated societies. From EMP pulses to a deadly pandemic, there is little opportunity to survive in this world. The film's first trailer and early stills are hosted here.

The trailer shows characters driving through a wide open desert. Reds streak the skies. In this landscape, a man searches for a cure for his infected daughter. Jake (Jake Ryan) must team up with others to find the cure, while a militaristic group stands in his way. Showing a diverse series of scenes, Blue World Order, from its trailer, looks like an ambitious film project.

The film is being repped by Arclight Films and their subdivision Darclight, for a release in North America. Though, a release date has not been announced for this territory. Starring Billy Zane, Bruce Spence and Kendra Appleton, more is sure to come from the desert wastes as Blue World Order searches for its science fiction audience.

Director: Ché Baker and Dallas Bland.

Writers: Ché Baker, Dallas Bland and Sarah Mason.

Cast: Billy Zane, Bruce Spence, Kendra Appleton, Stephen Hunter, Jack Thompson and Jake Ryan.

The film's official trailer is here:
