Krampus Brings a Big Bloody Bag to Theatres December 4th!

Krampus, from Michael Dougherty (Trick 'r Treat), is set to taint theatres this December 4th, 2015. The film will play several US theatres, courtesy of Universal Pictures. The film is based on Santa's darker cousin. This ancient character, Krampus, does not bring gifts, only pain. A trailer for this film has already been released. As well, a preview of the film's theatrical launch is hosted here.

Christmas is supposed to be about tradition, family and good times. But, it can often be about disappointment, Christmas party regrets and stockings full of coal. Krampus hopes to capitalize on one family's misery as the Midnight Hour approaches. Now, this dysfunctional family must work together to survive Christmas Eve. Otherwise, Christmas Day will be solely a bloody affair.

Krampus will see at least nine major American cities. From New York City to Los Angeles, Krampus will be stuffing his big red bag with body parts. Unfortunately, the film will not play for America's sturdier cousins, Canadians as a release date for Canada has not been announced. More details on the theatrical showing are below.
