The Editor Might Not Make the Final Cut: A Preview

The creative team of Astron 6 has completed The Editor. This film had its premiere in 2014, at the Toronto Int. Film Festival. Now, this giallo-inspired thriller is coming to several Canadian theatres, on Sept. 18th. This release will be followed up by another as The Editor releases on home entertainment formats, Oct. 6th. The film is a send-up starring Paz de la Huerta (Boardwalk Empire), Samantha Hill (Bad Meat), Laurence R. Harvey (The ABCs of Death 2), Adam Brooks (Manborg), Matthew Kennedy, Conor Sweeney, Tristan Risk and Udo Kier. Hopefully, actress Paz's appearance in this film has not ruined her career, forever. And now, fans can preview the film's horrifying launch here.

The story follows an almost out-of-work editor. It is suspected that his desperation has led to murder. But, only Rey (Adam Brooks) believes in his innocence. Now, Rey must prove to others that he is not behind a series of murders, that have created a huge pool of bodies.

The Editor will appear in five Canadian cities. From Toronto to Vancouver, the film will show from coast to coast, with Toronto hosting at least two showings. Fans of indie horror and giallo influenced film can find out more on The Editor below.
