A Surreal Atmosphere is Created in this Chilling Preview for February: First Movie Clip

The horror film February is moving towards an appearance at the Toronto International Film Festival. It will release in Toronto on September 12th. To coincide with the release, a movie clip for the film has been released. The clip is very surreal as the character Joan (Emma Roberts) roams a living room, knife in hand. A strange, inaudible voice adds to the clip's strangeness. The film is a co-production of: Paris Film, Unbroken Pictures and Zed Filmworks. A preview of the film's premiere is hosted here.

From the synopsis, events take place in an all girls prep' school. Here, two girls are trapped by the winter climes, while Joan moves closer to the school. An unseen evil terrifies everyone and murder is set to take place, at this isolated locale.

As well, a new still has been released for the film. The photo shows Rose (Lucy Boynton), covered in blood and terrified. However, very little else can be discerned about the film as an official trailer has not been release. Fans of indie horror will have to look closely at the released material, to figure out more of the film's plot, which appears very chilling indeed.

Release Date: September 12th, 2015 (Limited Theatrical).

Director/writer: Oz Perkins.

Cast: Kiernan Shipka, Emma Roberts, Lauren Holly and James Remar.
