Some Kind of Hate Slashes the Vein in this Red Band Trailer

Some Kind of Hate is a self-described "feminist slasher movie." Though, that ten dollar phrase is not defined, in a recent interview at The Hollywood Reporter (with director Adam Egypt Mortimer). The film also covers bullying as Lincoln (Ronen Rubinstein) struggles to survive high school. He summons a feminine spirit to defend him. And then, the blood really begins to spray. Some Kind of Hate stars Grace Phipps (Fright Night), Spencer Breslin and Sierra McCormick. The film's first trailer is hosted here.

The first trailer for the film develops more of the story. Lincoln can be seen falling to the ground, after an attack. Moira (Sierra McCormick) is introduced shortly thereafter, razor-blade in hand. Strange rituals and dark basements also litter the cinematic landscape.

Some Kind of Hate is set to debut at the Stanley Film Festival. The theatrical premiere will take place May 2nd, This horror-centric film festival shows in Colorado. But, fans of film can see more on the title, below.
