Goodnight Mommy Hosts an Evil Mystery: A Preview

Goodnight Mommy aka Ich Seh, Ich Seh is a film from Austria. In German, the film is a strange tale of two brothers and their mysterious mother. Her face covered in bandages, this mother prowls the woods at night. This international film has recently been picked up by The Weinstein Company (Quiet Earth), for distribution in North America. A trailer for the film has already been released and horror fans can see it here.

Only a few plot details have been released for the film. The mother has set off for town, in order to have some plastic surgery done. When she returns, she is not the same. Now, two brothers must uncover her arcane secrets.

The extended trailer for Goodnight Mommy shows more of the film's story. The two brothers spy on their mother as she removes her bandages. What lies underneath? One mirrored image looks monstrous and this mom's behaviours become more and more outlandish as the trailer progresses. Film fans can view the clip below.
