Richard Bates Jr.'s Suburban Gothic Shows an Awkward Ghost Channeller in this First Trailer

Richard Bates Jr.'s feature Excision was a horrifying and bizarre viewing experience. This feature was one of the best horror titles to come out in 2012. Now, Bates is set to debut his next horror feature, Suburban Gothic, at the Fantasia Film Festival, in Montreal. This paranormal feature involves a clairvoyant, strange ghosts and one very awkward, young man. The film's first trailer is here!

The clip shows Raymond (Matthew Gray Gubler) struggling with life challenges. He moves into his parent's house, after career opportunities fizzle out. Then, he pairs up with a tough bartender to explore the paranormal. Raymond hopes to win Becca (Kat Dennings) over, while expunging a malevolent spirit.

Suburban Gothic will have its World Premiere at Fantasia July 19th, 2014. Fans of film can preview the film's launch below, with more, wider release details on the film coming this way shortly.
