Soldiers of the Dead Lurk in the Forests of Romania: A Preview

A preview for Mark Nuttall's Soldiers of the Dead is here. This horror feature is a co-production from Viking Film and Television and Blackdog Productions. Together, these two companies have created an undead feature set in World War II. Currently in post-production, this title has secured distribution for the United Kingdom and more details on the film are here.

Soldiers of the Dead is set on the Eastern front, in 1944. Here, a group of elite German soldiers are escorting a scientist into a mysterious forest. They are in search of an ancient relic, which could change the shape of the war. But, Russian soldiers and a moaning army of zombies stand in their way.

This indie horror title was shot in Cumbria, England. Cumbria will substitute for Romania. Fans of zombies and horror can view more on this feature below (cast, early stills).
