More Alien Warfare Takes Place in Monsters: Dark Continent: First Trailer

The sequel to Monsters, Monsters: Dark Continent, takes place seven years after the first film. Now, America and the world is on the brink of destruction and human survivors are desperate to stop a growing alien invasion. The original film was directed by Gareth Edwards (Godzilla). Now, Tom Green ("Blackout) has taken over the franchise, with Jay Basu writing the screenplay for this second film. As well, Monsters: Dark Continent stars Joe Dempsie (Blitz), Johnny Harris and Sofia Boutella. An official trailer for the film is here!

The trailer shows US soldiers fighting in the Middle East. They seem to be fighting multiple foes, with the aliens shown late in the clip. Fans of sci-fi are encouraged to take a look at this upcoming film and Monsters: Dark Continent will release in the United Kingdom September 26th 2014. More details on the release are below.
