First time director Joe Chen has completed production on the zombie picture Zombie Fight Club. This film, from Taiwan, has been shot in Mandarin and the title hosts several Asian action stars, including: Andy On (Three Kingdoms: Resurrection of the Dragon), Michael Wong (Firestorm), and Terence Yin. As well, this film will have its World Premiere at the Cannes Film Festival, in May. The first trailer for Zombie Fight Club is here.
The film's synopsis can be summed up with three words: chaos, strange science and zombies! A future world is plagued by crime and the undead. Survivors retreat to an inner sanctum, within a great city. Here, captives are brought below to entertain evil overlords, in games of bloodsport. From mayhem to misery, few will survive these cage matches.
The first trailer for Zombie Fight Club is focused on action. Several characters fight both above and below ground, against different opponents. A visceral experience, fans of zombies, horror or action can preview the film's launch here.
