All Hell Breaks Loose in this First Trailer for The Purge: Anarchy

Universal Pictures and Blumhouse Productions are hoping to capitalize on the success of 2013's The Purge. The sequel is titled The Purge: Anarchy. This time, James DeMonaco's story goes outside the safety of the home and onto the streets of Los Angeles. This sequel stars Frank Grillo, Michael K. Williams and Zach Gilford. Also, The Purge: Anarchy is completed and it will see theatres this summer (June 20th, 2014).

The story for the sequel has only be teased thus far. But, the film begins with a couple stuck in the Purge, a twelve hour lawless period.

Fans of the original or of apocalyptic cinema can gather more clues on the story in the film's first trailer. The clip shows the couple stuck on a Los Angeles overpass. A murderous biker gang is in pursuit of them. Have a look at one of the more exciting trailers to release this year.
