Battle for Survival in this Exciting Trailer for The Rover

Production house A24 has just released the first trailer for The Rover. This film, from director David Michôd (Animal Kingdom), is set in a post-apocalyptic landscape, ten years after an economic collapse. The Rover stars Guy Pearce, Robert Pattinson and Scoot McNairy. And, fans of the genre are encouraged to take a look at the preview below.

The story for the film is a little vague. Though, it is known that the character Eric (Pearce) has been robbed of his vehicle and possessions. He manages to capture one of the robbers, Reynolds (Pattinson), and he uses this man to find the others. Eric is searching for the one (unmentioned) thing that still matters to him.

The trailer is beautifully shot and intriguing. Pearce is central in the clip and this actor is no stranger to post-apocalyptic, dystopian fiction, with an appearance in The Road. Pearce take a more central role in this reel as he tries to piece together some part of his past. Film fans can take a look below.
