Willow Creek Keeps the Tape Rolling at this Year's American Film Market: A Preview

Bigfoot continues to get a bad wrap. This time, the hairy beast is terrorizing a couple near Willow Creek, the place where Bigfoot was originally captured in photography. This horror film, titled Willow Creek, is from director and long time actor Bobcat Goldthwait (God Bless America). This found footage styled film has played at several film festivals, recently. And now, Willow Creek will be shown at the American Film Market in just a couple weeks.

The film is a small tale, involving two characters. Jim (Bryce Johnson) and Kelly (Alexie Gilmore) go against better judgement. They camp near Willow Creek, the birthplace of a legend. Here, they are assailed by a beast in the dark. Thankfully, Jim and Kelly keep the cameras rolling...until the final reel.

Willow Creek has already received some praise. This title was recently shown at the Vancouver Int. Film Festival. Here, critic Zack Moseley enjoyed this low budget effort: "it's a familiar set-up executed well, and with no budget or artifice to hide behind, it succeeds admirably on modest terms." This humble undertaking will screen for distributors November 7th, 2013, in Santa Monica, California. Hopefully, the film will then be screened in North America for horror fans. More details on Willow Creek, including a trailer, are below.
