The Chinese Army Drops in During this First Trailer for Invasion Day

Spotlight Pictures is developing a fantasy thriller titled Invasion Day. The film takes plot elements from John Milius 1984 film, Red Dawn. Though, there are no Russian armies here, only Chinese. And, the first trailer for Invasion Day has been released.

The clip shows a desperate family trying to survive in America, during an occupation. It seems that the Chinese are tired of waiting for the American government to pay back trillions of dollars in debt. So, they take it upon themselves to repossess the entire United States of America. The first trailer for the film shows some of the survivors of a surprise attack.

Invasion Day stars Scott McNairy (Killing Them Softly) and Ethan Flower (Mallrats).
