Norwegian director Tommy Wirkola (Hansel & Gretel Witch Hunters) has begun production on a new horror feature. His latest is a sequel to the 2009 film Dead Snow. The sequel is being called Dead Snow: War of the Dead and a few stills from production have been released.
The photos show German soldiers risen from the dead. The above still shows a monstrous figure trying to enter a car, while a second photo (below) shows a NAZI officer with similar intentions.
Director Wirkola promises that Dead Snow: War of the Dead will be funnier and gorier than the original. Earlier in 2013, Wirkola said of the blood: "we have a script that I am super excited about, which is bigger, scarier, funnier, more action-filled and gorier than the previous one." Horror fans should prepare for a spectacle. Also, this second film will bring a troupe of American zombie hunters into the snow and the zombie horde will be increased in size. Fans of international horror can preview the film with these stills hosted above and below.
Director: Tommy Wirkola.
Cast: Vegar Hoel.
