View a Stark Future Reality in this First Trailer for The Colony

The Colony is an interesting thriller being distributed by Entertainment One. This sci-fi action piece will release in theatres April 12th and the film hosts an all star cast.

Laurence Fishburne stars as Briggs. Briggs looks after an isolated colony after a new ice age sweeps the world. His comrade, Mason, is played by Bill Paxton. Both of these men pick up a distress signal from another outpost. Briggs heads out to investigate with Sam (Kevin Zegers) and they find terror awaits them.

The first trailer for The Colony has been released via Cineplex. The clip shows some of the stark settings and cannibalistic denizens from the film. This reel can only be viewed at the Cineplex website and a link for the preview is hosted below.
