The Grimm Up North is the premiere horror film festival in Manchester, England. This year's film festival will show classics such as Scanners and newer titles like The ABC's of Death. The fest' will begin March 7th and continue into May. And, 28DLA.com has two tickets available for the March 7th showing of Maniac!
One of the sponsors for the events, Appliances Online, is providing two tickets to this show. As well, this is a double-bill. Maniac begins at 7:30pm, followed by the thriller 247°F. Horror fans who live in the Manchester area are encouraged to enter the contest below.
The story for Maniac involves an isolated shop owner and a beautiful artist. Frank (Elijah Wood) is obsessed with Anna (Nora Arnezeder). But, Frank's murderous urges are aroused as his friendship with Anna grows deeper. Now, Frank roams the dark streets and hidden alleyways of his city in search of ever more victims. Horror fans are encouraged to view the film's brutal trailer below and enter the contest, as well.
