Norway's Thale is Set for Release March 21st Though Video-on-demand


Thale is a thriller from Norway. This title involves mythical creatures of yore. As well, Thale has been touring the film festival circuit, with a recent appearance at the Victoria International Film Festival. This title now has a release date set for Spring.

Thale will begin with a March release date. This title will show on video-on-demand March 21st. Also, Thale will show in theatres April 5th, with a DVD release set for April 23rd. Fans of mysteries will want to take note of these dates.

Thale involves a Huldra. Huldras are part cow and part human, who often lure unwary men to their death (with the promise of sex). In the film, this creature is a captive who is discovered by two crime scene cleaners. Then, Elvis (Erlend Nervoldand) and Leo (Jon Sigve Skard) set off on an adventure to find out this creature's origins.

Release Date: March 21, 2013 (VOD), April 5, 2013 (Theatrical) and April 23rd, 2013 (DVD).

Director: Aleksander Nordaas.

Cast: Morten Andresen, Erlend Nervold, Jon Sigve Skard, and Silje Reinamo.
