Hansel and Gretel Get Baked and Bloodied in this First Trailer

There seems to be a glut of Hansel and Gretel movies coming out this year. Tommy Wirkola's Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters is releasing in theatres January 25th. As well, the Asylum has released their version, Hansel and Gretel, earlier this month and there is another film being released shortly titled Hansel and Gretel: The Warriors of Witchcraft. However, Duane Journey's Hansel and Gretel Get Baked looks to be the best of this cadre of films.

Hansel and Gretel Get Baked is a horror film with a few bloody moments as seen in the film's first trailer. In the clip, one teenager eats too much from a pot laced gingerbread house. The witch, played by Lara Flynn Boyle, takes advantage of this youth with a handsaw. But, Gretel (Molly C. Quinn) comes to his rescue. This reversal of a damsel in distress storyline will likely entertain most horror fans. Bloodites can view the early reel for Hansel and Gretel Get Baked below, with the film set to release February 19th!
