A notorious cannibal has made a recent appearance at the American Film Market. His name is Sawney Bean. He was supposedly a Scottish flesheater who found a taste for local travellers in the 15th Century. Now, he is making his devilish presence known as Sawney: Flesh of Man. And, Jinga Films has released a clip for this dark tale.
In the clip for Sawney: Flesh of Man, Bean lures a local reporter to his cavernous home. Bean has taken Hamish's girlfriend hostage. As Bean's appetite grows, Hamish begins to run out of time to save her. Have a look at the reel inside with this film likely to find horror audiences in 2013.
Director/writer: Ricky Wood.
Cast: Elizabeth Brown, Lisa Cameron, Lindsay Cromar, Shian Denovan, Samuel Feeney, David Hayman, William Houston, Rachel Jackson, Jean-Paul Jesstiece, Ross Maxwell, and Gavin Mitchell.
The trailer for Sawney: Flesh of Man is here:
*legend has it that Sawney Bean ate close to a thousand people with his cannibalistic family. However, there is little to no textual evidence showing that he ever existed. Bean might be a great myth, but his possible exploits are greatly exaggerated.
