India Stoker Loses Her Innocence: A Preview

Tagline: "Innocence ends."

Stoker is a horror film or a psychological thriller, depending on how you approach the film. Developed from Wentworth Miller's ("Prison Break") script, Stoker harbours some incestuous sexual overtones, which threaten to tear apart a family. This family has already seen tragedy with the loss of India's (Mia Wasikowska) father (Dermot Mulroney) in a car accident. Her Uncle Charlie (Matthew Goode) comes to the funeral to offer his condolences, but he seems to have his eyes firmly set on possessing India's mother (Nicole Kidman).

The latest film poster for Stoker has been released by Fox Searchlight Pictures. The graphic alludes to some of the film's sexual motifs with the tagline "innocence ends." The character India appears pale and sombre. Fans of mystery can preview the graphic above and the film's official trailer is hosted below.
