The Hackney Picture House Hosts the United Kingdom Premiere of Pusher

The United Kingdom held the film premiere for Luis Prieto's Pusher October 4th. The premiere took place, appropriately, in East London at the Hackney Picture House. East London is the central setting for Luis Prieto's English remake of Pusher and many celebrities were in attendance. Richard Coyle, who plays Frank, was present along with his co-stars Agyness Deyn, Mem Ferda, and Daisy Lewis.

In the above photo, Nicolas Winding Refn is seen left. Film fans might realize that Refn acted as director in the original 1996 film of the same name. Refn was an executive producer on this latest title. Daisy Lewis is seen on the inset from the left. Daisy plays minor character Danaka. As well, actor Mem Ferda is third in from the left and he acts as one of the villains in Pusher, Hakan. Agyness Deyn and Richard Coyle follow on the right. Coyle, of course, plays Frank a drug dealer whose life spins out of control when a deal goes wrong. Director Luis Prieto is seen far right.

Pusher will have its next premiere in Los Angeles and New York October 26th. This title is also available through video-on-demand as of September 28th. More details on the UK premiere of Pusher, including an interview with Ferda, are hosted below.
