David Hayter's Wolves to Reinvigorate the Werewolf Film: A Preview

Wolves is a werewolf styled thriller that is being shot in Toronto, Ontario. Director David Hayter says of the film "[It is] Twilight with a bit more bite to it, and without abstinence." Sounding a little like MTV's "Teen Wolf," the film involves a popular teenager developing the need to feast on human flesh.

There have also been some casting announcements. Lucas Till of X-Men: First Class has been attached along with Jason Momoa (Conan) and Merritt Patterson (The Hole in 3D). Still in the early stages, more casting news will be posted when available. For now, enjoy another cheeky quote from Hayter: "[the film is] a werewolf myth in service of a sexual awakening metaphor."

Completion Date: Summer 2013.

Director/writer: David Hayter.

Producers: Steve Hoban and Benedict Carver.

Cast: Lucas Till, Jason Momoa and Merritt Patterson.

*Momoa will play a villain and a werewolf patriarch.
