From Pages to Screen with Dark Hollow at FIFF 2012: Concept Poster

Tagline: "It has been summoned. Now, it demands to be satisfied."

The Fantasia International Film Festival has already begun as of July 19th. Dark Hollow, a supernatural horror piece, is in attendance. This film is in the very early stages. Filmmakers from Dark Hollow will be at the festival in search of financial backing to bring author Brian Keene's novel to both the big and little screens.

The story of Dark Hollow follows characters Adam and Tara. Their marriage is about to crumble after two miscarriages and they retire to some local woods for rest and relaxation. They find the statue of a pagan god, which is very life-like on their sojourn. Soon, women start to disappear in the forest. A local farmer is connected with the statue and this couple must discover the mystery behind a lurking evil.

This film is slated for a 2013 release. Enjoy the film's first concept poster above.
