"Monocyte: The Lapis Coil" Gets a Limited Edition Vinyl Release

A vinyl edition of "Monocyte: The Lapis Coil" is now available for pre-order, and this limited edition album will no doubt be as collectable as the medium it is being released on. The first 50 pre-orders will get an exclusive poster designed by Menton3 (pictured here). But even more warming and foreboding will be the tones and ambience that will come from this recording medium.

Vacuum tube amplifiers and vinyl records have a unique sound to them that can never be fully recreated digitally. Try as they (the software engineers) might, no amount of digital alchemy can fully re-create the magic of Saltillo AKA Menton3's imagination in sound and vision. Only he can do justice to his own works since he knows what curves and pixels need to be manipulated.

And comic book readers will soon see the release of the final issue of "Monocyte" this month. This album has handpicked selections from the longer CD so it can be a fitting companion piece that can be listened to while reading the epic conclusion. Readers can now truly enjoy a complete sensory experience.
