The Summer of Massacre to Release Serial Killers in Downtown Los Angeles Jan. 10th!

The Guinness Book of World Records may very well have a new entry when The Summer of Massacre releases Jan. 10th on Blu-ray/DVD. This movie is boasting one of the largest body counts imaginable, and that will be a claim audiences will have to watch with a count ticker to verify.

This release will feature five stories about serial killers and maniacs—eight of them in total—as they wreck or maim their victims in what Breaking Glass Pictures/Vicious Circle Films says will be a gore-fest for the senses.

Brinke Stevens (Slumber Party Massacre), Nick Principe (Laid to Rest), and Cleve Hall (Nightmare) are just a few names in this star-studded package. And writer/director Joe Castro (Terror Toons 1 & 2, The Jackhammer Massacre) will introduce most of these tales.

The Blu-Ray/DVD release will come loaded with numerous special features, including: a director’s commentary, a behind the scenes director’s diary, interviews with Brinke Stevens, cast audition tapes, and Joe Castro’s “Childhood of Massacre” a short film furthering the bloodshed.
