Prepare to Get Bitten and Chewed Up By a Toothy Grill in this Updated Trailer for Vehicle Killer Flick Super Hybrid

Super Hybrid, from director Eric Valette (One Missed Call), is a film that has been finished in some part since 2009. 2009 is the year that the first trailer for Super Hybrid, previously called the simpler Hybrid, was released and the clip can be seen here (2009 Hybrid Trailer on 28DLA). The film has had a long perilous journey through darkened distribution streets to find a release date on DVD and Blu-Ray through the headlights of Anchor Bay Entertainment.

Now, a more polished trailer is available for this vehicular homicide inspired film a la Christine and Maximum Overdrive. The reel shows more of the finished special effects, which were missing from the first trailer, listed above. So, watch a group of mechanics enjoy their final greasy moments, as this possessed vehicular monstrosity goes about its business in killer exhaust spewing fashion. Also, expect Super Hybrid to crash through the garage doors of horror film fans August 23rd on DVD and Blu-Ray.

The synopsis for Super Hybrid:

"Late one night, a mysterious car is brought into the Chicago police impound garage after a deadly traffic accident. The on-call mechanics soon discover the car has a mind of its own. With hundreds of horsepower and two tons of reinforced steel at its command, it's a seemingly unstoppable killing machine capable of outrunning -- and outwitting -- humans.

Release Date: August 23rd (DVD, Blu-Ray).
