Sweet Karma, as Karma Balint. Smuggled out of Russia and into Canada, Karma and sister Anna are sold into the underground world of sexual slavery. Canadians are supposed to nice, right? Later, Anna is targeted in a Russian hit and Karma seeks vengeance, bloody vengeance.
Get set for Sweet Karma to hit DVD shelves June 14th, courtesy of Canadian distributor Phase 4 Films. For now, you can prepare yourself for this vicious dramatic thriller with the trailer below. However, be forewarned, the Russian criminal underworld is brutal and unjust, as show in the clip.
The synopsis for Sweet Karma:
"Karma Balint is a shy, mute Russian girl whose sister Anna left for Canada with bright hopes of making some money for the two of them. When Karma discovers that Anna’s body has been found in the woods, the apparent victim of a Russian mafia hit, Karma sets off to infiltrate the criminal underworld to avenge her sister. Her journey takes her through the twisted underbelly of society leaving behind death and mayhem in her wake" (Phase 4 Films).
