Captain Ahab Brought Out of Retirement for The Asylum's 2010: Moby Dick

The motto at The Asylum seems to be: go big or go home. This movie production company specializes in enlarging benign ocean creatures and turning the sea into a battlefield. The latest animal to get super-sized is the whale in The Asylum's 2010: Moby Dick. This is a "modern adaptation of the classic novel" (Asylum) and this literature buff wonders what author Herman Melville would think of this update.

Happy or not, 2010: Moby Dick will go straight-to-DVD and Captain Ahab will be played by Barry Bostwick ("Ghost Whisperer"). Also starring is Renee O'Connor (Bitchslap) and this film releases November 23rd. Have a look at the trailer, as giant mammals go tow to tow with smaller, but smarter animals (humans).
