This And Soon the Darkness Trailer Puts Puts Two Young Girls in Harm's Way

And Soon the Darkness is a remake of a "1970 British Thriller," (UHM) which now has a higher quality poster and trailer, before its release. In the clip below, two girls go travelling in Argentina until one girl goes missing under mysterious circumstances. The clip is enticing, as the remaining girl tries to take on a local criminal element while testing out a very charming and overly helpful tourist. Anchor Bay will release this film through a limited theatrical run December 17th; this film company will then follow-up with a release of this thriller December 28th. Check out the clip inside.

A synopsis for And Soon the Darkness:

"Ellie (Amber Heard) and Stephanie (Odette Yustman), early 20s, have left their cycling tour group to go it alone around Argentina, looking for breathtaking scenery, adventure, fun - in Ellie's case - and closure from love gone wrong in Stephanie's. In the small town of Alemana, dangers seems to close in on the girls but Ellie only has eyes for moody bad boy Chucho. Next day, after they miss the bus back to civilization, Ellie and Stephanie fight and go their separate ways; then Ellie disappears. Stephanie must find her before darkness falls and her worst fears are realized" (UHM).
