A Doppleganger is Born with The Asylum's The Battle of Los Angeles

The Asylum is up to its usual hijinks with the science fiction thriller Battle of Los Angeles. The Asylum is know for their instant classics like Transmorphers, Milf, 8213: Gacy House and many more. Their films are often seriously toned satires and their latest film looks unusually similar to Jonathan Liebesman's World Invasion: Battle LA, which was originally titled Battle Los Angeles. Coincidentally, both films release very near the same date, with the Battle of Los Angeles releasing first (February 22nd). Fans of the bizarre can check out another still from The Asylum's latest below and viewers are highly encouraged to view all of the The Asylum's photos for this project, as there is a Michelle Rodriguez lookalike. More details inside.

The in-depth synopsis for Battle of Los Angeles (sarcasm, wink-wink, nudge, nudge):

"In February 1942 US forces engaged an unidentified flying object above Los Angeles. Now almost 70 years later, the alien invaders have returned" (The Asylum).
