A Mature Theatrical Trailer for Jason Eisener's Hobo with a Shotgun is Here!

There are a few news items related to Jason Eisner's Hobo with a Shotgun developing. First off, a new teaser trailer will be released with Machete, in theatres September 3rd (Eisner); this will occur only in select Canadian theatres. As well, Hobo with a Shotgun has a longer, fuller theatrical trailer for the film, which is shown below.

In the clip central actor Rutger Hauer philosophizes with some babies, while reflecting on the hardships of life. There is little response from the newborns, but there is a response from the local thugs. The clip shows grotesque beheadings, hangings and things generally going to hell, all in a comedic fashion. So, take a look at the latest clip from this very original film and have a look at the new material for Hobo with a Shotgun during Machete showings this week.

The synopsis for Hobo with a Shotgun:

"A vigilante homeless man pulls into a new city and finds himself trapped in urban chaos, a city where crime rules and where the city's crime boss reigns. Seeing an urban landscape filled with armed robbers, corrupt cops, abused prostitutes and even a pedophile Santa, the Hobo goes about bringing justice to the city the best way he knows how - with a 20-gauge shotgun. Mayhem ensues when he tries to make things better for the future generation. Street justice will indeed prevail!" (IMDB)).

Writer: Jason Eisener, Rob Cotterill and John Davies.
