Meth is another film that will play at the Newport Film Festival next week and although the film is classified as a fantasy, this short can easily be considered horror as talking mannequins steal the show. The film stars Stephanie Brait as Nikki and Nikki has a little problem with the powder. Initial promotional material shows Meth to be an eye-opener on the effects of heavy drugs and those readers with a love for film that includes a message can check out this flick April 26th. "Nikki (Stephanie Brait) is a crystal meth addict living a life bent on self-destruction. After a failed attempt to pawn an old discarded mannequin to support her drug habit, Nikki finds herself host to an unwanted guest with a most unusual request. As the line between hallucination and reality blur, Nikki finds herself trapped in a nightmare in which her own sanity is at stake" (Trailer).
