The Experiment and Dissociative Torture

Horror news site Shock Till You Drop announced the release of some new cover art for The Experiment last Monday. Seen left, the picture shows several images on the back of an anonymous man's skull. The images seem to represent art and culture, but they could also represent the dissociation of the mind that occurs when prison guards face prisoners. A short synopsis is also available here for The Experiment.

A synopsis for The Experiment here:

"26 men are chosen to act the roles of guards and prisoners in a psychological study. Values are tested and lines are crossed when seemingly normal participants are pushed to the breaking point as the experiment spirals out of control" (Shock).

Release Date: 2010.

Director: Paul Scheuring.

Writers: Mario Giordano, and Paul Scheuring.

Cast: Clifton Collins Jr., Fisher Stevens, Travis Fimmel, David Banner, Damien Leake, and Jason Lew.
